Detailed description

A popular DIY wood veneer product suitable for use on panels up to 250mm wide. Available in a range of popular modern species - 30g fleeced backing produces a flexible product allowing profiles or curve to be produced & pre-glued with a quality hotmelt system ensures it is easy to apply!

Apply with a standard domestic iron on wool setting. Can be finished with all types of modern & traditional stains, lacquers, varnishes.

Technical specification

Best Practice - Technical Tips

  • Ensure that all substrates are at room temperature.
  • Surfaces must be clean & dust-free.
  • Set domestic iron to wool setting.
  • Use a cotton cloth to protect veneer surface.
  • Starting  from the centre, work the iron slowly back & forth.
  • Apply adequate pressure.
  • Watch for adhesive squeeze out on edge of board.
  • Once pressed leave for about 5 minutes before trimming.
  • Can be easily trimmed with craft knife.

How to Eliminate Failure

  • Avoid excessive temperature variations.
  • Keep moisture content of substrates between 10-12%.
  • Store Woodleaf in closed box & away from direct heat.
