Ultimax

Ultimax

Detailed description

Mirka Ultimax continues the tradition of providing customer's with products that maximise performance & efficiency while also minimising costs. The secret is a ground-breaking new production process called 'Selective Coating' technology (patent pending). A series of tiny cavities are specially designed into the abrasive material & these have been optimized to efficiently & effectively prevent clogging. This innovative new technology, along with the special abarsive grains that are used, gives a longer product life span & reduces material usage per job.

What's more, Ultimax actually achieves higher performance per abrasive grain when compared with conventional products. This is due to the Selective Coating Technology which creates a higher specific sanding pressure & gives more aggresive sanding characteristics. Ultimax was originally developed for the effective sanding of hardwood surfaces such as oak & beech, but its technically superior design means it is also well suited to a wide variety of other applications (i.e. calibrating). It is available in grits from P40 - P320 and comes in a variety of different abrasives formats including wide & narrow belts as well as discs (P40 - P180).
