Detailed description

Soudal Mirobond is a high quality neutral, elastical low modulus single component adhesive/sealant based on special silicon polymers.

Characteristics

  • Very easy to apply.
  • Does not attack back coating of quality mirrors.
  • Stays fully elastic after curing.
  • Very good adhesion on many surfaces.
  • Almost no smell.

Applications

  • Bonding of mirrors onto most types of surfaces.
  • Bonding of mirrors onto uneven surfaces.
  • Sealing of joints in mirror walls.

Packaging - available in 310ml cartridges single or Box Quantity (15 x 310ml)

Shelf LIfe - 12 months in unopened packaging in cool, dry storage place.

Technical Data

  • Polysiloxane base.
  • Moisture Curing.
  • Temperature resistance range from -40C to +150C.

Surfaces

  • Bonds to all usual surfaces except PE, PP, PTFE & bituminous surfaces.
  • Surfaces must be clean, dry & free from dust & grease.
  • Prime porous surfaces.
  • No primer required on non porous surfaces.
  • Apply using a caulking gun between +5C to 35C.
  • Clean with white spirit after use.

Application Recommendation

  • Apply Mirobond in vertical beads 10- 20cm apart on back of mirror.
  • Ensure bead is applied around edges.
  • Support mirror during curing phase.
