Steel Wool

HIgh quality steel wool for cleaning, preparing & maintaining wood & metal surfaces. Produced from the highest quality steel & dust resistant wool that is virtually oil free Liberon Steel Wool can be used on a range of materials including wood, metal, porcelain & glass. Available in several grades, the choice of steel wool depends upon the planned usage.

Polishing & cleaning delicate surfaces - Ultra Fine Steel Wool Grade 0000

  • use to cut back between coats of french polishes, varnishes & oil finishes.
  • use to clean & polish metals such as bronze, copper, chrome, stainless steel & aluminium.
  • use to cut back between coats of varnish & paints.
  • use with soapy water to clean & polish porcelain, marble & glass without marking.

Light cleaning & surface preparation - Grade 00

  • use with Liberon Wax & Polish remover to remove built-up wax polish, smoke & dirt on wood.
  • use to clean, smooth & prepare wood or metal surfaces before polishing, waxing, varnishing or painting.
  • use with a suitable solvent for light to medium cleaning of all metals.
