Brummer Yellow Label Stopper the perfect interior woodfiler available in many natural wood shades - the perfect solution for filling holes and cracks in all types of timber, from fine antiques to modern furniture. May be mixed with stain and can be used under nearly all decorative finishes.

Technical

  • Prepare the surface prior to filling ensuring all loose debris is removed & free from dust.
  • If colour matching, have the colours at hand and at room temperature prior to mixing.
  • For a good colour match prepare some test pieces using small pieces of wood and apply the Brummer & finishes you anticipate using before full production use.
  • If painting over, the colour of Brummer is not critical - however for a perfect colour match when varnishing or polishing choose a shade carefully.
  • Allow to dry fully to obtain an accurate representation of the finished colour.
  • Take care to assess the size of job correctly when filling cracks, gouges, holes or other blemishes.
  • Brummer is ideal for smaller repairs; large holes require building layers up, allowing each to dry before next application. Alternatively use a two-part polyester system for larger imperfection.
  • When using Yellow Label Stopper it is recommended to seal any nails or screws with a light oil-based fluid to avoid rust formation (water-based products) prior to use.
  • If the contents have stiffened stand in warm water for a period of time & this will make it more pliable and easier to remix & apply.
  • Exterior applications - use the Green Label range.
  • Always replace lid after use - store in a cool, dry environment away from extreme temperatures.
