5028 LV

5028LV is a water-based polyvinyl acetate adhesive suitable for laminating & veneering applications. Used for bonding a wide range of wood & wood-based products such as internal & external doors, windows, kitchen & bathroom furniture, HPL laminates & applications where BS EN204 Part D3 specification is required. Ideally suited for large panel lamination applications or where a lower viscosity adhesive allows economical & fast spread rates over large areas.

Can be used on all types of glue roller systems including hand, machine or pressurised systems. Use hot or cold & suitable for RF, IR & UV drying processes.

• One-part self crosslinking.
• Dries to transparent glueline.
• Excellent initial tack with short open time (quick drying).
• Clean down with water when wet.
• Use Acmos 101-5060 to remove when cured.

All surfaces to be bonded must be clean, dry & free from surface contaminants. Condition adhesives & substrates in workshop prior to bonding. Apply adhesive to one surface in a uniform coating using brush, bottle, hand roller or mechanical spreader. Assemble immediately to avoid adhesive 'skinning over' & mechanical pressure of 20-100 psi applied to laminates - press cycles can be fairly short providing the components are left undistrubed for further bond strength development. Short press cycles obtained by using hot press machinery.
